Fairs

Today, SSD wants to hear about fairs. We don't have a lot of good fairs around here. I do really enjoy going to the annual street fair. Its downtown and really big. Lots of great stuff to check out. This year I bought a Christmas ornament for the family. Its really great when my mom is able to come down and go with us.

Now for sports. My dh and I are huge hockey fans. We love to watch the Wild and even bought in on a set of season tickets this year! We only bought 1 game, but its gonna be great seats. We have never watched the Wild even though we have talked of going for years, its gonna be great!

iTunes

I just bought an iPod last month. I have wanted one forever, but didn't have one. I got a pretty pink Nano. I only have 30 songs loaded on it for now, but the one I am digging the most the past week or so is Shinedown's Sound of Madness. Love that song.

Christmas Train

This FOB2Y, Sweet Shoppe wants to see some place we went to last month. We had been looking forward to seeing the Disney A Christmas Carol train. My mom came to town for it and saw it early in the day. She said it was really cool. We went there right after we got off work and the line was huge. The wait was 1.5 hours and I just didn't think that N would wait that long for it. So we took a picture in front of it and moved on. N looks terrified though cause he was afraid they would blow the train whistle when he wasn't expecting it.

Cheesecake

Today SSD wants me to talk about cheesecake. Boy, I love cheesecake and I LOVE the Cheesecake Factory, but we don't have one in the town I live. So I rarely get to go. Its been a while. My favorite cheesecake they have is pumpkin, but its a fall only one. If its summer, I love the key lime pie one. And if its neither of those seasons, banana cream is my favorite. Yummy. Wishing I could go get one.

Trying & May 2009

First, I am trying really hard to make my blog look pretty, but I get frustrated with all the html before I finish. What's ridiculous is, I know html, I took a whole course on it in college, yet I get annoyed and can't get it. Guess its a good thing I never majored in computer science. I will hopefully get it fully pretty soon. Wanna make Amy's beautiful kit and Chelle's beautiful blog fashion look good.

Second, its another SSD from our blog to yours! This time they wanna hear about our May. In May, we put up a birdy feeder so Nicholas could watch the birdies. He loves to pretend to be a bird, so seeing them eat every day is great to him. We had a great Mother's Day. I got beautiful flowers, tulips and gerbera daisies and went out to great brunch at the place where we had our wedding reception. Nicholas also made me a card and tissue paper flowers at his school. They were beautiful. Grandma came to visit and we got to go swimming and to a different zoo. Nicholas really enjoyed the monkeys and the ducks. Feeding the ducks was his highlight, I think. Nicholas also had his first virgin marguerita. He thought it was very good. He discovered Finding Nemo and has been watching 'fishies' every since. On Memorial Day, we went to the Air Museum and he loved getting to see all the airplanes. What little boy doesn't love airplanes. It was a pretty good month other than all 3 of us getting sick at one point in the month.

First, I will be redoing my blog soon. Gonna make it really pretty use a blog in a box by Amy Stoffel. I also need to update it badly. Its a mess. I am going to try to start posting more than just SSD From Our Blog to Yours quizes, too. I don't think anyone reads this anymore, so I will have some more ahead of me. lol
